The Snap-Cap Transfer Abutment is a prosthetic component designed for accurate implant-level impression taking using a simplified closed-tray workflow. It helps transfer the implant position, angulation, and internal connection orientation from the patient’s mouth to the working model, supporting precise prosthetic fabrication and predictable restorative outcomes. It is compatible with BlueSkyBio® Internal Hex implant lines, providing a secure fit during impression procedures while helping maintain accurate implant positioning and surrounding soft tissue architecture.

The snap-cap system enables quick and simple impression taking while combining the convenience of the closed-tray technique with a high level of transfer accuracy. The snap-on plastic cap remains inside the impression material after the tray is removed from the mouth, helping capture the transfer position efficiently. The transfer abutment is manufactured from Titanium Grade 5 (TI-6AL-4V ELI) for strength, biocompatibility, corrosion resistance, and reliable clinical use. It may also be used as an aesthetic abutment when clinically appropriate.
